Event Description
4:00-5:30pm in McCormick Country Kitchen
BOBAFest was later this year because we got kicked out from the Country Kitchen during our normal time by McCormick House Government, even though we made our reservation far in advance (grumble). Because it no longer overlapped with Midway, we could have exec come to both events, but we still let people choose so they didn't die (with NextAct on top of all that) and we lost some crazy kids to the Google puzzle hunt that day.
We made concentrated milk tea the morning of (~10am) and let it chill in the refrigerator until the event started. We started making the boba about an hour before and let it soak in sugar water.
Materials
- Black Tea
- 5-minute Boba (we had to clean out much of C-Mart's supply) + brown sugar
- Condensed Milk
- Ice (to chill the tea and boba)
- Assorted snacks (as much as the budget covers)
- Cups (we used leftover big red cups from Costco)
- Boba straws
- Trash Bags and Tape (to cover eeeverything)
Notes
- Many sophomore boys valiantly volunteered to be shot at and employed very creative pieces of armor.
- Fill in more notes! Like how the room was setup, how people's straws drip so we should cover more area... Staly washing his feet in the sink (how these could be done better)... write it all down!
