  • Ingredients
    • 2 dozen eggs
    • 2 bunches of chives, diced
    • Salt and pepper
  • Eggs are scrambled beforehand, then mixed with chives.

Materials

  • Food utensils
    • Forks
    • Chopsticks
    • Bowls
    • Plates
    • Napkins
  • Cooking utensils
    • Large pots
    • Pan
    • Dumpling ladle
    • Spatula

Other Notes

  • Check all food, drink and utensils inventory before purchasing groceries.
  • Shanghai style dumpling wrappers are thinner than northern style dumpling wrappers. The only difference on the packaging was a small bit of text.
  • Cost: ~$130, including Lyft to and from C-Mart.
  • Attendance: We hosted our event on the Monday before school started and on the actual Lunar New Year evening. Both these factors may have caused low attendance, compared to a previous year with too much attendance (hosted a week after school had started and NOT on actual Lunar New Year evening).
    • We also charged $3 for non-members. This seemed like a fair amount, and we had some non-members attend.
    • The amount listed above is enough food for ~30 people, with enough leftover material for ~40+ extra dumplings.
