Shopping List

2011

  • Everything was bought at Cmart
  • 9 cans of fruit (2 cans left)
  • 4 cans Lychee (0 cans left)
  • 7 cans condensed milk (5 cans left)
  • 7 cans red bean paste (5 cans left)
  • 6 cans grass jelly (3 cans left)
  • 6 cans aiyu jelly (3 cans left)
  • 5 cans coconut jelly (1 can left)

Total cost ~70 dollars Also, zip car rental for shopping was around 16 dollars (not necessary)

Don't forget to check if there are enough utensils (bowls and spoons!)

I feel like less people passed through this year so I would buy less than what I bought but still at least 1 can more than what was used.

Logistics Checklist

2011

  • Register for a booth for the activities midway when ASA sends out the email. Make sure that there will be power strips or places to plug in our shaved ice machines
  • On day of, go to walker and grab the wooden stands as well as the 'ATS' sign and the 'Shaved Ice' sign.
  • Make sure to ask pub chairs ahead of time to print out fliers so we could hand them out at this event.
  • Bring all necessary ingredients, a cooler of ice, the shaved ice machines, utensils/bowls/napkins (including plastic knives to cut the jellies), and can openers!
  • Keep the spoons away from the prefrosh so you can hand out a flier when you hand them a spoon. Muahahaha.
  • Try and have at least 5 people at booth at all times (2 shouting/handing out fliers/holding spoons back, 2 making shaved ice and also refilling, 2 serving toppings.)
  • We could bring a computer with a powerpoint slide, but there really isn't too much room for it...plus we always end up being near booths that are loud anyways D: (Unless we can outloud them XD)
