Description

7:00-9:30 pm New House 6

Family Potluck was held in New House 6. The following direction was given to the families. 1. Sign up together as a family 2. Choose an amazing dish to cook together and bring to the Potluck Dinner 3. Compete against other families in cooking 4. Play games 5. Learn about different regions in Taiwan 6. Win prizes!!! :)

Families created 1 to 2 dishes to bring to Potluck and then voting occurred to choose the best dishes. We created 6 categories, be creative other than voter's choice and Judge's choice. Games that were played were WA and ATS jeopardy. Families got points for winning dishes, family attendance and winning the games. Prizes were giving for the winning dishes and winning families and MVP for winning games. (Prizes were different noms like Lychee and Coco pie)

Preparation

Shopping: All recipes should be submitted by thursday so that the shopping trip Friday is final. Ingredients are then delivered to the location where people will cook.

Create Jeopardy: Template for last years jeopardy is still around. It should have questions about TAIWAN or ATS with miscellaneous of exec. Use NEW questions! People have seen these before!

Create Senior Photos: Photo mosaic/compilation of the seniors. Each family should have at least 1 person work on this. After they are done, we will buy nice frames and have the family members sign the back of the frames and present them to the senior at the potluck.

People to give speeches about the Seniors: Have at least 1 person per senior to give a speech about the senior. What they say is up to them.

Attendance

6 Families attended and 5 of them made dishes. We approximate about 40-50 people were there overall.
