Description and recap

As in years past, ATS organized Super Team Awesome to participate in the annual MIT Mystery Hunt. This year, we placed 11th! The night before the hunt began, we organized a lowkey practice session in Next TFL, coached by Bradley Wu '11.

Materials

  • Snacks (rice crackers and such; care package surplus works great for this event!)
  • Drinks (aloe, water, etc.)
  • Name tags with fancy holders! (makes us seems legit, but not that necessary. also not necessary to make the tags themselves very fancy, since no one has time to look at them carefully anyway.)

Feels

  • Younger and/or less experienced team members were encouraged to participate in runarounds, which was inclusive and good.
  • The Chrome extension was great! It makes us seem that much more legit :)
  • Still, the event felt intimidating for the fresher team members because more experienced members would blaze through puzzles, often solving them while others were still halfway through.
