Event Description

ATS Senior Dinner, where we celebrated our graduating seniors. We ordered $380 of catered food from Jojo Taipei to serve 35, and purchased aloe. Each senior received a framed collage and had a speech given by an underclassman.

Attendance

Most of the 11 seniors invited attended. Seniors were mostly former exec members (excepting fresh reps), but we also considered very helpful honorary exec. There were about that many underclassmen too. We invited around 65 non-seniors, so attendance was rather limited. One contributor was our asking for a $10 donation from everyone. We ended up not bothering to collect this money.

Prep

This year, there were more seniors than usual, so we simply decided on a time we thought would be most convenient. (It turned out there were many free food events that day, since it followed the last day of classes.) We compiled a list of invitees: all current and former exec, and all invited seniors' littles. Most of these people did not show up, since many littles are inactive. In our invitation, we asked the littles to make collages and deliver speeches, but found that it was much more effective to make personal appeals to particular underclassmen.

We acquired nice 12 x 18 picture frames, but Copytech only printed color with size 11 x 17 (no 12 x 18 color). So in the future, get 11 x 17 frames. Also, Copytech realized these were collages for seniors and upgraded us to nice glossy photo paper for free!

We ordered food from Jojo's, totaling around $380. Our order was meant for 35, so we ended up with a lot of leftover food. We also purchased three large bottles of aloe, which ran out, as expected. You can't buy too much aloe!
