Description
Your usual care package event! This semester, we sold 696 packages!!! Yay for industrialized care :)
Everything generally went smoothly, as people knew what to do. Logistics:
- Sales were straightforward. People did things right.
- CMart took our card on the first try this time! Except we heard they're closing soon, so we were only able to buy ~2/3 of the Chocopies there. We bought the rest from HMart.
- We realized packagers don't advertise exact numbers, so we ran out of a few items. In the future, keep a margin of 5% (buy 5% more boxes), instead of just buying 2 boxes across the board.
- Rachel wrote a new Python script for generating online care packages.

Materials
- Care package slips and pens
- Plastic bags for care packages
- Heat sealers (in stud storage)
- Paper cutter (ATS owns one)
Other Notes
- We found even cheaper bags on Amazon, but they are hard to open/seal, since they're smaller. Find larger ones next time.
- We made new slip designs! Which will be left over for next semester. Don't print more.
- CMart is closing soon, so next semester may be different.
- Regex is good. Previous semester forgot to use the newer version from Spring 2017.
